It was quite an unexpected thrill to be named the #1 Museum in Chicago in the Chicago Reader poll this last January. Despite any humility or questioning the value of a competition amongst creative endeavors (we are all in the crock pot together! ) it was damn nice to get that boost and have that middle finger to give on occasion. Well, it’s that time again …well time for us to be nominated anyway – now I’m having anxiety of not even being nominated and opening the doors for the ‘fluke – flash in the pan” brigade.
