MARTIN ATKINS PRESENTS: KILLING JOKE’S EXTREMITIES – LIVESTREAM AVAILABLE
Since announcing the show earlier this year, not a day goes by that we’re not asked about the possibility of bringing the show to Europe. We’re acutely aware of the amount of people who really want to see this, so we’ve set up a $10 ticket livestream for each night. It’s a 5-camera production, with 1-2 moving cameras + 3 stationary. It will give anyone who wants the opportunity to celebrate with us. A significant portion of the proceeds from the livestreams will be allocated to Geordie’s and Raven’s families subject to discussions with them, and other causes to be determined.
It’s a heavy time emotionally. I was actually sitting behind my kit thrashing away yesterday, scrolling through my internal rolodex of people I should call to invite, and before I fully realized what was happening, I created a mental note to call Steve Albini before I realized, of course, that’s no longer possible.. Aside from the emotional weight of this, we have a country in turmoil, weather, flight cancellations, and fuck knows what else – but I wouldn’t choose to be doing anything else other than this right now!
