Museum Monday: There’s So Much Going On!
MUSEUM MONDAY: I really love Museum Mondays when there’s a focus and a point, and I feel like I’ve stretched myself and written something meaningful. This isn’t one of those posts…. there is just so.much.going.on! Did you see the pics and video of Extremities rehearsals at the Museum? Let’s immediately pause for a second there – just spectacular to have the bass rig used by Paul Raven, then Charles Levi, Flour and Andy McGuire then Jah Wobble now used by Justin Pearson last week again! I have to say, all of this is making my head and heart full. It’s all coinciding with my physical health, my drumming stamina being at the highest point in well over 15 years – all of these things together are making me so thankful for this re-start? I’m nowhere near 100% yet, but I’m seeing progress with these crazy beats – is it possible to say that music saved my life? Certainly the museum has, that’s undeniable to me. If you’re having a tough time please know that things can get better – it takes time and that’s frustrating in this day and age, but it can happen. 18 or so months ago I was trundling around on a walker. Anyway, here’s that list of amazing things!
much love, be as nice as you possibly possibly can ? MA
