UK Tour Update, New Museum Auctions, + Upcoming Events

I was so happy and proud to be asked to speak at Rebellion Festival this year on what will be my 65th birthday. I moved to the states in ‘82, as many of us did back then, and carved out a back and forth career with PiL, Killing Joke, and my own band Pigface, with only rare appearances back in the UK. So it felt special, as did all of the offers to speak about my time in and out of these bands.
I’m in the best shape I’ve been for quite a while – after a right hip replacement (I always said I didn’t play bass drum from the ankle technique but from my hip – ouch!), and a spine operation. I’ve dropped over 25lbs and feel slightly dangerous again. Unfortunately with these things, it’s one step forward, two steps back, and my left hip is now screaming and in danger of unbalancing my spine.
I’m not used to listening to anyone about much usually, but it seems the smart thing to do here is to listen to my surgeon and get in to get my hip fixed as soon as possible, and continue (albeit crookedly) on the larger path to recovery. I’m hoping that many of my dates will be able to be rescheduled for later in the year and, if they’ll have me, a re-go at rebellion next year.

10-Day Auction Starting Tomorrow!
Launching throughout this afternoon and evening is a 10-day round of auctions to help us fund all of the great things coming up at the Museum!
This auction will contain some new items, like an original Gravity Kills Superstarved sticker, a SIGNED letter from Groovie Man – Frank Nardiello, an original Sister Machine Gun/Gravity Kills 1996 poster, 1991 Murder Inc Corpuscle poster, a NiN Downcycled Broken package, one-of-a-kind screenprinted and signed PPIM t-shirts, drum heads, another Martin Atkins Custom Drum Track, and more!

Although a 10-day jaunt in the UK isn’t doable right now, I can still do events up the street from my house at the Museum!
