This Weekend at the Museum: Celebrating Ministry

We are celebrating the 36th anniversary of In Case You Didn’t Feel Like Showing Up this weekend – I’ll be leading the tours and telling stories about that wild, groundbreaking (legendary?) Tour – It was the beginning of Pigface and almost the end of industrial music in north America as we know it.

I’m spending a little time today puling a few artifacts from the back room and I’ll be looking at the digitized session from 1989 with myself and Bill Rieflin on drums, engineered by Dave Rave Ogilvie and assisted by Keith ‘Fluffy’ Auerbach at the legendary Chicago Trax Recording on Halsted Street.

No guarantees other than I’ll look this afternoon and if it’s possible I will pull up the track when we hang out in the studio for the last part of the magical tour!

Of course there’s itineraries, passes, cage, oil cans, the Satanic Hot Sauce banner signed by EVERYONE, my stripey shirt, William Burroughs memorabilia, Aaron Rossi’s jacket, other original shirts, posters, and so much Revolting Cocks & KMFDM stuff too!

There’s still a few tickets left for 6:30PM tonight, 2:00PM Saturday and 2:00PM Sunday.

I almost forgot, my ICYDFLSU drum kit is right there at the museum too – you can sit behind it and take a selfie! Whoop! See you there.
