Founders Meet Founders: In Person + Virtual!

FOUNDERS MEETING FOUNDERS

IN PERSON + 2 VIRTUAL SESSIONS!

Enough about me! A few Founders have expressed the desire to meet and hang with other Founders – so this will be that! Founders meeting Founders, explaining how they got into whichever parts of this music and why the Museum is important to them…..refreshments will be provided!

This is also a chance for advice and input – normally during a visit, I’m trying to guide people from all over the place on a personal experience. During this event, I’m happy to show you some new items that have arrived — but mostly it’s for you to meet each other and for us to listen… “Why are there never bananas at the museum??” “Why isn’t there more Pigface ?” “Why is KMFDM in three different places? “ etc. Consider preparing a short, 2 minute version of your “why,” as there may be an option to create a short video at the event!

If you can’t make this in-person one — don’t worry, there will be more + there are virtual options!

 

I love the idea of our in person Founders’ event. I can’t believe we haven’t done it before! It struck us, for as many Founders that are going to be stopping by that day, there are ten times as many around the country – and the world. So, we want to open up a virtual Founders’ event – with 2 different date options!!

We’re not sure of the format just yet, whether it will be  Martin wondering around the Museum to show you new arrivals, chatting with one another, getting to tell your stories, (maybe think about preparing a short 1-2 minute “why I’m involved in this crazy thing,” limiting sharing-time so that more people get to share their stories).

The important thing is that we wanted to get this on the calendar, and let you know. This might be the first, but it won’t be the last.

Please note, these sessions will be recorded. We might edit the content to bounce around in a newsletter, or to other founders – so please be fully clothed! Ha!
