The Museum is featured in the Newest Episode of We Goth This!

We Goth This with Walter Flakus and Noel visit the Museum

Last week, Walter and Noel visited the Museum for the weekend, and they were also kind enough to have us on their podcast showcasing both the museum and the upstairs apartment! Take a look for yourself (linked here). It was great seeing this seen from another perspective and to grow the richness and depth of the Museum’s knowledge base.

We also had time to interview Walter about Stabbing Westward and his corner of the Chicago Industrial scene. That interview is up on our free pay-what-you-want Patreon.

PPIM Presents: Raymond Watts (PÎG) in Conversation w/ Martin Atkins

Saturday, August 22nd, the museum is excited to host Raymond Watts of PIG for a chat before the upcoming Hurt People Tour.

Virtual tickets are now available as well. Of course, we’d love if everyone could make it in person, but we are glad to offer a virtual livestream for those of you who would still like to join us from anywhere in the world.

MORE ABOUT RAYMOND WATTS

Existential industrial glam maverick Raymond Watts and his band have revealed a fall tour of North America to promote ‘Hurt People Hurt,’ their new album on Metropolis Records. ‘Hurt People Hurt’ has been receiving some of the best reviews of Watts’ career globally, while in the US he was recently described as “the missing link between David Bowie, Gary Numan and Trent Reznor” by Bearded Gentlemen Music.

Aside from fourteen albums as PIG, he has worked with stalwarts of the global industrial scene such as Einstürzende Neubauten, Foetus and Psychic TV, in Japan with the bands Schwein and Schaft, and was a founder member of electronic rock band KMFDM.

PPIM Presents: Dave Hill Live!  – Second Show

Our first event with Dave Hill sold out, so we’ve added a second!

Fresh off opening for Puscifer’s North American tour, Dave heads out again this fall as their opening act across Europe and the UK. In between, he’s making a stop at the Museum for a night that’s part stand-up, part rock show, and entirely unfiltered.

“One of the funniest people alive.” —The Atlantic

“Brilliant.” —New York Magazine

“He is at the vanguard of a new class of entertainers.” —Wall Street Journal

“Hill’s loose jabs and affable, nice-guy demeanor are what make his gently absurdist comedy so enjoyable.” —The Onion

We look forward to welcoming you all and Dave Hill for this exciting evening event!
