Being so fucking old and a member of such iconic bands at their arguable height, founding Invisible Records with over 300 releases and my band Pigface, with over 500 members, feels like an unfair advantage in setting up this museum. So many pieces, items, ephemera, set lists, lyrics, passes, receipts, songs, videos, shirts, posters, pics, art, fashion, demos, ideas, scenery, contracts and the seemingly insignificant other pieces that glue all of this together. It seemed that NOT manifesting the museum would be the craziest thing.

Newcastle United just won their first soccer trophy in over 50 years. I’d forgotten they’d won anything, but the excitement over the game yesterday against Liverpool made me remember my time growing up there (around the time of the last trophy), and its influence on me now.
