Museum Monday: NiN Events, Jim Lanza at PPIM, + More

MUSEUM MONDAY:

The NIN related events continue at the museum – so far we’ve had a couple of NiN Days, been to the show and hung out backstage! It always good to see Tom and Jolly Roger! We had a SUCK mix session (where guests could leave with your mix of SUCK on a cassette!), and hosted the wonderful Marky Ray, OG NiN guitar tech, for a presentation. He brought with him one of the three guitars he rebuilt from ‘91 Lolla guitar smash debris and handed it around for people to play. Man, that was great – the stories and pics, too – more to come in the Patreon!

Please check out the Patreon – there are many posts up there already, and more most weeks. There are no increasing levels – everyone has access to all of it for just $2 – I like it that way, it feels correct.

This Saturday, August 30, we have another special insider NiN event with Jim Lanza, photographer, designer, OG NiN merch, and more. Get your tickets HERE

He donated his Bowie/NiN tour book to the museum and inside is fascinating – even scrawled gross merch figures show Bowie selling about 25% of NiN..it was a slump for him, I guess, back then. I LOVE ALL OF THIS STUFF – the in between the cracks stuff!

Plus, you can hang in the neighbourhood before and after – buy a book from Tangible, records from Lets Boogie or Bridgeport Records, go chill at Charis or Electric Funeral..BTW – I’m spinning there (Electric Funeral) on Friday the 29th too – you’ve probably heard me say what a terrible, terrible DJ I am – come hear it for yourself!!

Look out for a Lords Of Acid Patreon post coming this week, too!

And lastly, I just posted on my socials – you CAN do this sober if you want to!
