Focused Days at PPIM
FOCUSED TOURS AT PPIM:
The Process Day, from Martin
These focused days are really incredible for so many reasons. I get to think, re-arrange, and focus things for fans to make sure they’re blown away (and blow myself away in the process – no pun intended!). These days make me find something I just know is in a box somewhere!
You might think, “Oh yeah, Martin worked on The Process, so there will be a few things there…” And yeah, that would be right, BUT – the Skinny Puppy collection is really exploding: from the TDP lighting plot to latex work from Tim Gore, the shroud from Aint It Dead Yet, along with the poster and an interview with a 14 year old attendee (their first gig), and Ogres signed suit from 2015, many itineraries and backstage passes, shirts and shirts and shirts, Allen Jaeger art and a HILT shirt.. Oh and what’s that? Ah yes, the handwritten lyrics from RX, and the original FOOK backdrop from 1992, and the tooth removed from Ogre’s head in 2014 in Philadelphia, lenticular photos, posters, signs from backstage and Ogres passport photographs, just to name a few… Then there is plenty to listen to in the studio including RX dub mixes and stories and more!
New connections come from these things, too. One day, I was playing some Skinny Puppy Process work mixes, and this guy asked me about the horrifying sounds on the track For Dusts and Mists on the Rx Album. He’d been having nightmares for years about it – was it someone having their own legs eaten? Ha! I’ll tell you what it was when I see you!
If you are a huge Puppy fan without the means to attend for whatever reason – please let me know and I’ll sort out a guest list spot for you and a friend— You Gotta see and hear this stuff!!
