Museum Monday: Energy at PPIM
Paul Stookey impromptu musical performance
There is so much energy coming from the museum at the moment – I have to give to it, but it is giving so much back. – I cant imagine what things would be like without it? First, lots of visitors from all over the world – it’s SOOO great when people see the place for the first time – it can be overwhelming! On Friday, Shad exclaimed “I’m tripping right now!” It can be an overload, for sure. We had more impactful tours on Saturday and early Sunday, then we welcomed Music To Life organization for their board meeting and mixer. An impromptu musical performance by Paul Stookey – on the same spot that Justin Pearson played bass last week…..mind boggling, mind boggling. I don’t know where this is going, but I’m getting some more gasoline to pour on these sparks (To explain, Paul is the Paul from Peter Paul and Mary, who had a #1 hit in the US in 1969 and has carved out a life of activism and support of other musicians making change in their communities. Justin played bass for The Locust, has Three One G Records and will be performing on the Extremities project in November). We had no idea it was going to happen we just opened our doors to welcome some change makers to the space. F Yeah. |

Auctions are live and spectacular – please support here and I’m looking forwards to so many events — but my night of Killing Joke stories with Steve Silver on Saturday at the Museum is something that’s going to be very special. STEVESILVERROCKS code makes it free! Be as kind as you possibly can in these difficult strange and frightening times
