Museum Updates, Vinyl Sale, + More!

Can I tell you how much I fucking love the Museum?

Although there are more and more items and exhibits each week, it is the emotional social glue that I am most fueled by. Just sitting and chatting with Gaelynn Lea and her partner Paul last night, having her taste our 18th St Distillery Founders Blend whiskey – just chatting was amazing and just what I needed. Her single with Michael Stipe comes out today, I think, and she was unaware that my partner in founding Pigface, Bill Rieflin, spent 8 years or more in REM (and they used to actually be called Rapid Eye Movement!) I had forgotten that we placed an ad for her organization RAMPD in the new catalog!

This month is also special as I celebrate my arrival with  PiL in April 1980 – there will be an open house at the museum on Saturday to celebrate our second year of existence as we head into our third! Also, in a nod to Record Store Day, we will have our vinyl on sale at 25% off all weekend – you don’t have to queue up for Record Store Day to buy an over-priced album and sell it on e bay – you can do that with ours !

Use code RSD25OFF to receive 25% off your vinyl purchase in the store!
