Jason Pettigrew in Conversation + Book Reading

Jason Pettigrew was an editorial staple at Alternative Press magazine for a few decades, witnessing the ground-floor ascension of such outfits as Nine Inch Nails, Filter, AFI, My Chemical Romance, Twenty One Pilots, and a couple thousand more no one remembers. These days, Pettigrew has been cracking his freelance knuckles, delivering stories and columns for SPIN, liner notes for Rhino Records reissues; and annotating photographer Erik Bauer’s Pittsburgh-punk book “Had to Be There.” He is celebrating his new book for Bloomsbury Publishing’s acclaimed 33.3 Series, which details the history of “The Land Of Rape And Honey,” the godhead release by industrial-rock polymaths Ministry.

Join Martin at the Museum as he sits down with Jason Pettigrew, in the center of all of the Industrial and Post-Punk ephemera, for what will be a fun, interesting, and informative session – there may even be donuts! Jason will also be sharing snippets from his newly released book. Signed copies will be available for purchase at the event!

FOCUSED TOURS: NiN Days

Thank you so much for such a wonderful response to our focused tours! The Process Day this last weekend was energizing, and I’m looking forward to more of this.

The Chicago Reader was kind enough to do a surprise feature about the Museum last week, talking about the NiN Days, and said:

“The museum is a sumptuous display of clothing, souvenirs, ticket stubs, posters, instruments, pieces of stage sets, and more. But to fully appreciate what’s there, it’s worth booking a…tour.”

Check out upcoming tour dates below and book yours (+ check out the full Chicago Reader Article Here)!
