A Few Quick Updates!

View this email in your browser

Just a quick email today to update you on all things:

2 years 3 months 16 days sober (but who’s counting?)

There have been more substantial donations to the museum – which is kind of the same age as my sobriety (weird, huh?). We’ve received many pieces: Jamie Reid , Siouxsie And The Banshees, NIN, Strike Under, Wax Trax, Chris Connelly, Manchester, Thee Majesty, Ministry, Killing Joke, PiL, Skinny Puppy, Pigface, Einsturzendeneubauten, The Metro Chicago, Revolting Cocks and so. Much. MORE! We are also adding in more digital screens and slideshows down in the studio to go along with our listening experiences as the digitization of the growing archives continues!

The overnight is back up for auction HERE  -What is it? Well, instead of JUST getting a guided tour from me (and stories), you also get to spend the night! Undisturbed by me rattling on…. I kind of love that we do that!

Please also keep in mind that we are accepting applications for interns at the Museum! View the following form for further information and to submit: Museum of PPIM Intern Submission Form

Coming soon: Bring Your Dog to the Museum Day + More!

Peace Love and Much Respect

Museum Pre/Post Show Guided Tours

We will be hosting open houses surrounding the upcoming Sisters of Mercy, Love and Rockets, and The Cure concerts here in Chicago. Love and Rockets will be performing at the Riviera (~12mi from the museum) at 7:30 on Tuesday June 6, and Sisters of Mercy will be at the Salt Shed (~6mi from the museum)!  Then The Cure will be playing at the United Center(~4.5mi from the museum) Saturday June 10th!

These will be great pre+post-show hangs! Not just a tour and objects to look at and music to listen to with Martin — but you get to hang with some like-minded fans who are going to the concert from different parts of the country. It’s been a cool thing in the past, so we’re doing it again!

There are a total of NINE Guided Tour sessions across FIVE days – so we hope there is a day and time that fits in with your plans! If you’re not alredy a Museum Founder and you’d like to be, you can either purchase the Founders Package Here or Donate an Item of Note to the Museum.

Check out the event pages linked for more details!
