Museum Monday: Free Tours, Vote for PPIM, + More

MUSEUM MONDAY:

Miraculously and wonderfully, the slipstream from the Extremities show will not quit. Photographs keep surfacing that reignite the memory banks and the emotional pull of the whole series of events. I’m feeling fit and intending on keeping up with my drumming so I’m ready for whatever comes next!

We had a visit from Jenn of Punk Rock Saves Lives and I’m thrilled to be able to display and offer their services both in the Museum and upstairs in the AirBnb!

In addition to the 30/60/90 Choose Your Discount codes that are replenished, the museum gift shop is 50% off in person this week, too – I just decided to make Saturday at 11am + 2pm FREE tours – but you still need to reserve your spots, please, using code FREEFORALL. If you have been planning on visiting but haven’t been able to swing it – then let’s go! You can register for either of Saturday’s free tours HERE.

There are LOTS of other things going on (the Patreon is kicking ass!), but I just want to remind you to vote for us in the Chicago Reader poll by going here! It’s easy to say that a competition to identify the best museum (or any cultural/artistic endeavor ) is basically flawed, BUT it’s still a THING to be listed in the top 3 – and this would make three years in a row – so please consider doing that for us!

Martin is wrapping up the semester downstate at Millikin University, and we have a ton of events coming up over his break!

Throughout December, there are many tours, including the New Year’s Weekend (mis)Guided Tours with a Ministry vibe – celebrating the 1989 Cage Tour. That Saturday evening, Martin will be hosting another PPIM Virtual (mis)Guided Tour! If you’re unable to travel to Chicago, haven’t visited before, or you have visited but want to see all the new updates, you can hop online with Martin on the 27th!

New Year’s Day, we’re starting a new PPIM Brunch tradition! You might’ve attended or heard about our Whiskey Pancake Brunches we’ve been doing for the last few years over Cold Waves weekend – now we’re planning on bringing in the New Year right! Join us for a limited seating, special brunch!
