An Industrial Listening Party!

An Industrial Christmas Carol
Listening Party

Friday, December 22
6:30PM CST

Join Martin for an exclusive listing party for An Industrial Christmas Carol, released over 25 years ago!

From Martin:

“The new family (just me, Katrina, and Ian) were living at the Invisible loft at 2024 S Wabash, and it just made sense for me to go into the studio that had recent housed Killing Joke rehearsals, Pigface pre-production, and the first SPASM performance to rattle around some chains, atmospheres samples and beats.

The crying heard on one of the tracks is Ian, less than a year old. We were recording and I just wandered into the studio with him in my arms.

Sadly, the message ‘age old hatred never takes a holiday’ is as true today as it was a quarter of a century ago. This is intended as a celebration, something joyful for those of us who don’t ‘go to church.’ Something for the church of us perhaps.

If I could add an epilogue track to this release, it might be, “Be kind, be as kind as you can to everyone, then when you simply can’t manage any more – be nicer.”

Watch out – I might put up some x-mas lights and have some refreshments!”

I’d love to say, wow, it’s wonderful just to be nominated, but, man, it sure would be a (post) punk AF moment if we came anywhere close to not last! If you have a moment, please consider voting for us.
