Not only does the catalog provide a snapshot of interesting discoveries, donations, acquisitions, thoughts and ideas, it provides a comparison point, a kind of yardstick to look at how things are progressing. The short video, above, provides that juxtaposition of then and now. To the left and below there is basically, nothing except the Pigface Welcome To Mexico tapestry reproduction. I love this huge piece. It is one of several I want to see displayed in full at some point – but over the time since the first catalog, Ministry, Revco, KMFDM, Pigface, NiN, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult and more have just overtaken the wall like the after part of a cautionary ad warning of the dangers of invasive species in your garden. 

For myself, it gives me that 1970’s Newport Cigarette ad – warm fuzzy glow as I say to myself ‘you’ve come a long way baby.’ 

Reflection is good, (especially now as I slowly recover from hip surgery and can’t do much more than that) yardsticks are good. Especially in these creative business endeavors riddled with doubt, hype, more self doubt, risk, adrenaline, stress and the ever present imposter syndrome. Incremental, bootstrap growth is good but, when you are in it, it can feel imperceptible – like watching facial hair grow – you don’t see it until someone sends you the before pic. Q1: How do I get my Name on the Founders List in Catalog #2

A1: Well, if you are already a Founder from Catalog #1, your name will also be printed in Catalog #2 (along with any new Founders who have purchased the Founders Pack or Donated an Item of Significance).

Q2: Does the catalog come free with the Founders Pack?
A2: No, unfortunately we can’t do that

Q3: I like the limited edition shirt – can I just order that?
A3: No, it’s free when you order the second catalog and will ship in the next 10 days!

Q4: Are there still First Edition Catalogs available with the flexi disc and scratch and sniff banana post card?
A4: Yes, but only a few! Order yours here

Q5: Do you donate advertising for causes or just people who could use a bit of a break at the moment?
A5: Yes, a few. There will also be auctions for some 1/2 page ads too!
